Senior Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Stourbridge / Field Based Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 DOE + Vehicle + Overtime We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing HVAC business. This is a hands-on position that combines service, maintenance and fault-finding duties with responsibility for supporting and coordinating a team of engineers. The role would suit a strong Air Conditioning Engineer looking to step into a leadership role while remaining technically involved. The Role * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. * Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and chillers. * Attending reactive breakdowns and providing technical support. * Assisting with commissioning and handover of new installations. * Producing service reports and recommendations. * Conducting site surveys and equipment condition assessments. * Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices. * Assisting with scheduling and coordination of engineering activities. * Liaising with clients and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained. Requirements * Minimum 5 years' experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry. * NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. * F-Gas Category 1 Certification. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience. * Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers and heat pumps. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Strong communication and organisational skills. Desirable * Previous experience leading or supervising engineers. * IPAF, PASMA and CSCS. * SSSTS or SMSTS. * Manufacturer training from Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Fujitsu, LG or Panasonic.
